Since we've been house-sitting for a ...Hi Ian,<br /> Since we've been house-sitting for a number of years, I'd like to add a couple of comments to your checklist. <br /> There is a lot of information for the house-sitters to absorb and remember about your pets and home, so the more detailed, the better, in the instructions. There are a few things that we've found to be important to us, that you didn't mention:<br />1) Help the housesitters log-in to your computer network and have the password written down, so they can also log-in with their phones or tablets. <br />2) It's helpful to be able to use the homeowners' printer and show them where the extra paper is located. We probably don't print more than 10-15 pages, but sometimes you need a printer.<br />3) Our biggest hang-up is always the TV and using their remote. We need written instructions please! Everybody's remote is different.
