I would like to thank all the lovely people who contacted us regarding our sit even though most were unable to help at such short notice.

We are in awe of the multitude of caring wanderers who have made Housesitting a way of life and who add so much value to those who use their services.

As my father became ill recently we were left without a sitter so we thank all the wonderful sitters who took the time to respond and I apologise I have not got back to all of you.

Please accept this as a personal thankyou and I sincerely hope we get to meet at some stage in the future.

We would love a mature experienced couple to mind our resort style acreage property, 2 cats and 11mth old toy poodle while we are away for 4 weeks from 14th October.

We are on 5 acres in Jimboomba and just 2 minutes to the township with supermarkets, cafes, takeaways, library, chemists, etc. 3 acres of our property is just an empty back paddock which requires vitually no maintenance and the remaining 2 acres consists of a 4 bedroom scandanavian designed home (lot's of glass) and home office, 4 bathrooms, inground pool, sauna, gym, dam and pretty gardens which are fairly low maintenance except for the rose garden which actually requires a little work at the moment so garden lovers would be most welcome here.

If you are a handyman that would be great too as there are a few little jobs that we haven't had time to get to yet. Our baby (poodle) doesn't really require walking as he gets a lot of excercise running around the yard but he loves to play fetch and really enjoys outings in the car but this is not necessary if you don't like the idea. He is used to staying home by himself when we're at work. If you think this position might suit please contact us with your details and experience. We'd love to meet you

You will need a car to get around our area. Unfortunately, we are in a wi-fi shadow and are unable to provide high-speed internet, if that's important to you.

"I would like to comment on a house/pet sit I just returned from in Sayulita Mx.

Seven weeks in a beautiful part of Mexico even in the low season was wonderful! I commend the house owners, Roger and Summer for their hospitality.

I was able to finish a book while there as well as see many of the nearby sights.

I also salute this site for providing this venue for people such as I who want to experience a culture not just observe.

I indeed experienced the small village of Sayulita, inter reacting with local people and seeing all through their eyes.

"Hello, I would just like to say that I am extremely happy with the results So far. I place an add last Tuesday and today, Sunday, everything is in place.

I found this site to be very helpful. The applicants were all very rofessional. We met with out potential housitters on Saturday and found them to warm, friendly and competent. We have secured them to watch over our home and pets while we are on vacation. I feel releived and can now concentrate on having a relaxing holiday, without worry of our beloved pets.
